Meet the DevFacto leadership team:

Chris Izquierdo and David Cronin founded DevFacto in 2007 with a vision to become a different kind of consulting company; one where people enjoy being at work, feel supported by their employer and are inspired to grow.

Since then, DevFacto has expanded to include a team of over 115 consultants across Canada. As we continue to grow, DevFacto is guided by the following diverse and talented group of leaders:

Chris Izquierdo

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Chris is responsible for the company’s strategic vision and planning. He co-founded DevFacto in 2007 with a goal of creating a unique and revolutionary organization where highly intellectual and artistic IT minds could innovate and create solutions that humans love to use. Chris believed that happy employees help produce powerful results that WOW customers and he continues to pursue this belief as he drives the company direction.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Havana and has worked in the software industry for nearly 20 years.
In his spare time, Chris is an avid adventurer who enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling and spending time with his family. Want proof? Check out his Instagram account!

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, David is responsible for executing DevFacto’s mission by aligning technology vision with business strategy. He thrives on defining the company’s service offerings, evaluating emerging technologies and working with organizations to inspire transformation.
Since co-founding DevFacto, David has been dedicated to curating company culture and maintaining a work environment focused on employee well-being. His commitment to culture has propelled the company to award-winning status and is the reason DevFacto continues to be a highly sought-after place to work.
In his spare time, David embraces his inner-nerd writing code, spending time with his wife and two kids, and supporting so many Kickstarter campaigns that he’s quickly running out of space to showcase all of his memorabilia.

VP Business Development

Scott is responsible for developing and maintaining longstanding relationships with DevFacto’s clients and partners. Knowledgeably bridging the gap between technology and business enables Scott to uncover opportunities, establish a vision and craft a strategic approach to technology; ultimately delivering value and genuine impact.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has spent the time since immersed in the IT industry developing ideas, road maps and strategies for products and organizations alike.
Scott loves to spend time with his family, run long distances and read (a lot). On that note, Scott highly recommends that you read a little about his hero, Ray Kroc (classic Scott).

Sharon Shybunka

Sharon Shybunka

Controller

Sharon is a dedicated Chartered Professional Accountant with 10+ years of experience in public practice and enterprises. Her career as an auditor gave her exposure to a variety of businesses, not-for-profit organizations and government entities providing her with a breadth of knowledge across industries.
Prior to joining DevFacto in 2015, Sharon was responsible for the financial reporting of two entities within a complex multinational publicly traded company.
When she’s not making magic with Excel spreadsheets, Sharon enjoys yoga and barre classes as well as spending time with family and friends.
