DevFacto and ASEBP worked collaboratively to develop a native app for Apple and Android platforms, coded to support ease of feature expansion and improved user experience. The My ASEBP app enables users to view, submit and manage their health and wellness claims through a one-stop-shop. New features include claim submission, photo receipt submission, historical records access, TouchID (iOS) and fingerprint authentication, notifications (for online claim receipts, claim status changes) and more. From screen design to technology selection, the new app combines modern and efficient metaphors based on industry best practices for mobile design with the best in user experience.
The new My ASEBP mobile app has been very well received by users, school jurisdictions and the ASEBP team, and is considered an intuitive to use application, with users spending less than a minute on average using the app. This constitutes a significant time reduction to conduct business as compared to My ASEBP website or ASEBP’s former mobile app. Since the launch of the new app in September 2016, the number of mobile app active users has increased almost 400%. In terms of the number of claims, on average 24% of all claims are now submitted through the app versus through ASEBP’s website, with this number consistently growing month to month.
ASEBP is now well suited to expand the services provided to its membership through the My ASEBP mobile app, and to continue to provide the best possible customer experience.
